Enchanting Forest Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

R&KB: The cache has been vandalized, probably Thanksgiving weekend. We found parts of the cache scattered over a 100 yard area. A pair of bells were thrown up in a bush. It appears that several caches in the immediate area have all been vandalized. It is a shame that there are assholes in this world who have nothing better to do than destroy "public" property and ruin other's enjoyment of a benign pastime. Any future caches that I create will be virtual or members only.

Geocache Description:

Located in Chatfield Park, entrance fee required. A pleasant level walk through the enchanted woods.

This is a log book only "mini" cache and Travel Bug Exchange. A small log book in a THIN 4x7 Rubbermaid container. PLEASE, do not put trade items in the cache, there is not enough room! Just leave your notes, and small Travel Bugs ONLY. Thank you.

There are three parking areas near where the park road crosses the South Platte River.
No major bushwhacking is necessary if you do a little preliminary scouting (Hint 1).

NOTE: If the reservoir level is ABOVE normal you might need boots.
