Camouflaged bison tube in a park setting.
5-18-14. This cache was originally established by The Lone Cacher (RIP) on 9-16-2003, and consisted of a 35 mm film canister hidden in the root system of a small tree. It was adopted by IndyKenn and MaryLou upon The Lone Cacher's passing, and then by oldllychem on 12-19-07. When the tree died and was removed by park personnel, the cache was rehidden at the base of a nearby sycamore. This was not a truly satisfactory location, since heavy rains could wash it away. To keep this cache going, the hiding spot has been relocated near a paved walking path. Bushwhacking is not necessary. You are looking for a camouflaged matchsafe container; only contents are a log. Please bring your own writing instrument. Also, please rehide the container exactly as you found it. This cache is not a park and grab, and could take a few minutes to spot.
