Geocache Description:

Located on SH 123, about 23 miles north of Lamar, Ar., near the Big Piney Creek Bridge.

Big Piney Creek Bridge, listed on the National Historical Register (4/9/90), was built in 1931 & is a one lane, steel Warren truss of 461 feet. This version of the Warren truss is unusual in that it uses verticals, & diagonals & vertical sub-struts.

Cache is only a few hundred feet from parking area, but heavy tree cover may cause poor GPSr reception. I think that is standard with many caches. Regardless, this should not be a tough find.

The container is a 30-caliber ammo can, so bring Travel Bugs.
