Geocache Description:

This cache is ocated at the south end of Tweedsmuir Provincial Park (near the top of The Hill to Bella Coola). This is the trailhead for backpacking and horse trips in the summer, and snowmobiling and skiing in the winter. Trails lead into the stunningly beautiful Rainbow Range and also connect with the Mackenzie (Grease) trail.

This link is the official government parks site and it has a lot of great information about the area including snowmobile and hiking maps, history, weather, etc. I highly recommend a look at this site if you want to know more about this unique area. (visit link)

This site has information on the park including a photo of the nearby Rainbow Mountains. I don't have permission to use the photo so I won't post it here, just the link. (visit link)

--------------------------

The cache is standard Rubbermaid container, medium in size and wrapped in a Ziploc bag for extra protection. It's located in a small grove of evergreens. You'll need to make a short walk from the parking area. This is suitable for children and those with dogs as it's easy walking with no climbing or bush wacking required.

In the winter, this cache will be buried under 3 to 6 feet of snow. I'd call it a summer-only cache. Even with the clue it will be hard to find in the winter.
