Geocache Description:

This is located in Fallbrook. Another dog friendly preserve. Please observe the posted regulations.

This cache is located in an ammo box.

The preserve that you will be visiting is a wonderful surprise. Not much parking, but try to park as far off the pavement as possible....maybe let a passenger out first since there is a white fence adjacent to the parking. Lots of poison oak sticking through the fence and throughout the preserve. Take a look at the first bench just inside the park. The bench is dedicated to Brookie Thom and has a short statement, "Fairies Live Here". Have a look around the preserve and you just might find one of those elusive creatures.

We suggest that you decrypt the clue. You will be able to stay on the road, then on a path, nearly all the way to the cache site. Stay out of the avocado groves that border the area. The preserve has citrus trees, avocado trees, and even a pomegranate tree. The Conservancy has plans to eliminate these non-native trees and replace them with vegetation and trees that would normally grow in this area.

There are stickers and tiny burrs in the area as you get closer to the cache. We didn't take our dog to the cache. Dogs are better off staying on the asphalt path.
