Geocache Description:

approx 1800+ feet elevation. paved and stepped area. Accessible to all except on Wednesdays

This cache is located within an old nunnary. The original village was established approx middle 900s and the nunnary was created around 1500's. The cache is inside an old stove at the base of stairs. The gardens are maintained by local proprieters but the view is worth the trip. The history is incredible when you reach the parking lot. Just look around you and bring a camera.

Note on cache maintenance: This property is maintained by my sister and brother-in-law. Mario and Jannea Acchiardi. They own a resturant associated to this property and hold the keys to the gates where the nunnary was erected. Jannea has the entire history of the area and Perinaldo. The view from the location is magnicificant and Cassino Cathederal is adjacent to the property. They are aware of the cache location and will maintain it as neccessary
