The Cache is located off Tiorati Brook Rd (closed in winter) there are 2 possible parking areas, where Beech trail crosses rd this is closer to Palisades Pkwy or at Red Cross tr. closer to Tiorati circle. From Beech parking walk about 100 yards down rd, heading toward parkway left on Beech (blue) to its terminus at Red Cross it is about 1 mile to this location, now head for Bocky Swamp trail, from here you have a 1/10 mile off trail climb.
The cache (ammo can) is located on a ridge with some nice views. In the cache there is a small white bear "cassidy" she was recovered from a Cache in Shanendoah Ntl. park that had been destroyed by animals, please say hi, but leave her as she is the gurdian of the cache. aside from the views there are loads of Blueberries in season, and for the adventurer if you head ENE along ridge you will come across some exploratory mine digs. Although a bushwack in from the road looks good, Tiorati brook and surounding swampy areas will make for a tough go.
