Hainigturm
Dies ist ein Multi-Cache. Er besteht aus zwei Stationen. Zum Lösen
der Rätsel benötigt Ihr Zettel, Stift und evtl. Taschenrechner.
Parken könnt Ihr an folgenden Koordinaten: N 50° 37.516 E 009°
24.904. Der Parkplatz ist von Lauterbach aus über einen
geteerten Weg zu erreichen.
Geht vom Parkplatz zum Hainigturm (N 50° 37.305 E 009°
25.020). Da der Turm im Winter geschlossen ist, gibt es zwei
Möglichkeiten, um die Koordinaten für den Final Stage zu berechnen:
Sommervariante (wenn der Turm geöffnet ist):
Besteigt den Turm! Nehmt Euch einen Moment Zeit und genießt die
schöne Aussicht. Bei schönem Wetter kann man bis Fulda sehen!
Welche Zahl befindet sich auf dem Schild auf dem das Wort Melmberg
steht? Diese Zahl ist X.
Zählt die Stufen der äußeren Treppe (ohne die Stufe direkt vor der
Tür). Die Anzahl der Stufen ist Y.
Die Koordinaten des Final Stage sind: N 50° 37.(771 - X) E 009°
(8 + Y).137
Wintervariante (wenn der Turm geschlossen ist):
Über der unteren Tür des Turm befindet sich ein steinernes Schild.
In der zweiten Zeile des Schildes befindet sich ein Wort. Übersetzt
die Buchstaben des Wortes in Zahlen (A=1, B=2, C=3,..., Z=26) und
addiert sie. Das Ergebnis ist Z.
Zählt die Stufen der äußeren Treppe (ohne die Stufe direkt vor der
Tür). Die Anzahl der Stufen ist Y.
Die Koordinaten des Final Stage sind: N 50° 37.(487 - Z) E 009°
(8 + Y).137

This is a multi-cache with 2 stages. For answering the questions
you need paper, a pencil and perhaps a calculator. You can park
your car here N 50° 37.516 E 009° 24.904. You can reach the
parking place easily from Lauterbach.
Walk from the parking place to the Hainigturm (N 50° 37.305 E
009° 25.020). Because the tower is closed in the Winter there
are two possibilities to get the cooridnates of the final stage:
Summer-Version (if the tower is open):
Get on top of the tower!
Which number is on the sign with the word Melmberg written on it.
This number is X.
Count the steps of the stairs outside of the tower (the step in
front of the door does not count). The number of the steps is
Y.
The coordinates of the final stage are: N 50° 37.(771 - X) E
009° (8 + Y).137
Winter-Version (if the tower is closed):
Above the door of the tower there is a sign made of stone. In the
second line there is one word. Translate the characters of the word
into numbers (A=1, B=2, C=3,..., Z=26) and summarize them. The
result is Z.
Count the steps of the stairs outside of the tower (the step in
front of the door does not count). The number of the steps is
Y.
The coordinates of the final stage are: N 50° 37.(487 - Z) E
009° (8 + Y).137
