This case is located in Fairfax, VA in the Fairfax Villa Subdivision. I made the hide fairly easy and the terrain is rated 2 because of the recent hurricane damage to the park.
This is my first cache to hide. It's a 3 quart rubbermaid type container. Contents include: Log book, pen, 2 yo-yos, an extension cord, 2 cans of play doe, a "poof" ball, butterfly post-it-note, pair of utility gloves, a phillips head screw driver, a set of pinochle playing cards, and a pack of batteries.
I have lived in this housing development for 11 years and never knew this park was here until recently. Lovely wooded area with lots of trails to explore. Decided it would provide for a fantastic cache hide. You have two options on parking. 1) N 38 50.797 W 77 19.760 (this is by the neighborhood pool and trail head is to the right).
2) N 38 50.598 W 77 19.890 (this has a nice bridge into the woods). The trails have quite a bit of sticks, limbs and trees covering it since hurricane Isabel made her presence known, so careful with you step.
