Geocache Description:

Famous Marshal rest in Portland.
Please return cache into the 'shallowest' hole. Thank you.

We recommend you do this cache before dark. It is an Altoids tin painted brown and sealed in a Ziplock bag. There is a logbook and pencil and a few small tradeable items.

This person was a Deputy United States Marshal and the Chief of Police in Tombstone, Arizona when the shooting occurred at the OK Corral. He was the primary law enforcement officer in the incident." At the OK Corral it was he who was disgusted with Sheriff Behan's weakness and for Behan's constant protection of the 'cowboys'. It was this person who yelled at the cowboys to "put your hands in the air", not his brother, as this famous person didn't want a gunfight if he could have avoided it, the same way law enforcement thinks today.
