Geocache Description:

This is a virtual cache in Sequoia Nat'l Park near the Wuksachi Lodge and Saddle Rock virtual cache. You MUST take a picture of yourself there and add it to your log in order to get credit. Starting in 2016, I will not accept logs without a picture of the cacher with the Froggie. If you do not want to post your whole face, be creative with pictures of your shadow or your hand with your gps or whatever...as long as Froggie is in the pic too. Selfies are great too!

Gotta use your imagination on this one! We thought we'd add another something for folks to look for while they're walking around the area west of Clover Creek. There's a lot of Manzanita brush amongst the very large rocks so be careful if your legs are bare. We rated the difficulty as "2" since you have to use your imagination a bit - it's not as obvious as Saddle Rock (great name by-the-way javrach!). We rated the terrain as "2" because there was no trail and a bit of an incline. It could be rated "3" in the winter though because of snow.

In order to view Frog Rock in such a way that it actually looks like a frog, you could be standing in the approximate area we were when we first noticed it which was at N36ΒΊ 36.909' & W118ΒΊ 45.070'. We found Saddle Rock & Frog Rock in mid-September when the creek is probably at it's lowest and safest to play around. If you go in late summer, check out the creek and see if you find some fish in the little rock holes!

Have fun! We did....Travelon62(aka Right Turn Only) & CashCow
