A virtual cache requiring a picture to be uploaded with your
online log.
This 34 ft. tall red tower is an active light made of cast iron. It
was established in 1915 and automated in 1969. It currently has a
300mm plastic lens. You can access the east breakwater from the
boardwalk. Park in one of the provided parking lots and walk to the
steps leading down to the sand. The walkway gets progressively
wider and smother the farther out you go. Please observe the
precautionary sign at the beginning of the breakwater and do not
attempt to log this cache when waves are breaking at the tip. It
would be extremely dangerous. To gain credit for this cache, you
MUST include a picture of a member of your team and a GPS'r sitting
on the steps in front of the tower to prove that you visited.
We will give you a couple of weeks to post the pictures, logs
without pictures will be deleted without warning.
Please, read the precautionary sign.
