The cache is located at an elevation of 4130 feet; the official
summit is 4140 feet. It took me under 3 hours car-to-car, depending
on your ability and the route you choose your time may differ
significantly from mine. I spent some time looking for the best
route to the summit, and as usual, I found it on the way down. I've
included a map of the route that I chose, see image below. The
first third of the route follows a well-defined trail, then
disintegrates into a maze of game trails. In the middle section of
the route the trail is not well defined, just follow the ridgeline.
The last third is marked with cairns; you will see them if you are
alert. Depending on your approach you may encounter some 3rd class
scrambling through large boulders.

The cache container is not large, it is similar to a climbers
summit log and it contains only a logbook, pencil and a few small
trade items. It is well hidden among the summit boulders. Note that
there is a summit register at the top, it is a glass mason jar, and
it is not the cache. Enjoy the 360-degree view, it is awesome.
