Geocache Description:

George Orwell wanted to be buried "in a country churchyard", the Englishness of being buried in a churchyard appealed to him. Sutton Courtenay was chosen for him and is one of the most picturesque villages in the area.

Seek the last resting place of George Orwell author of Animal Farm and Nineteen Eighty-Four (Nb. Orwell is a pseudonym). George's neighbour died 13 days after him aged XY, use this age to decode the coordinates for the cache which is at:

N 51º38.(X+3)5(Y+3) W001º16.(Y*2)0(X/2)

You now have a choice of two very pleasant walks to the cache which when taken together make a nice round walk if you wish. If conditions underfoot are bad there is also a third drier, but longer, route.

There is a small free car park 150m to the SSW of the first location.

The cache is a 2 litre plastic container containing various goodies.
