Geocache Description:

A great park with lots to offer.

This is my favorite park in West Seattle. Baxter and I walk the trails in this park weekly. The cache is near a fairly well traveled trail, so no bushwhacking is necessary. After you find this cache make sure you go back to your mode of transportation a different way, you might get lucky and spot one or two of the resident red foxes. If you haven't already been to Troop 591's cache, now would be a good time to give it a go, they have one of the best hidden caches. The trilliums in the spring are another great treat. For the rock climbers, Schurman rock has been recently restored. I want to thank Terri and the rest of the staff at Camp Long for their enthusiastic support for me to place this cache in the park. The park hours are: November thru February, Tuesday thru Saturday, 10 AM to 6 PM and March thru October, Tuesday to Sunday, 10 AM to 6 PM.
