Geocache Description:

Exit 185 from I-40. Go east past the HD restaurant and the old gas station. The cache is located at the north end of a 5 mile stretch of old Route 66, in the duff of a group of small Ponderosa Pine trees. There is no need to go north of the highway right-of-way fence.

The cache is a 6 inch x 6 inch Rubbermaid container. There is a log book and a deck of National Geographic State Fun Fact cards. The idea is for everyone who finds this cache to take a State card. When you log your find, tell which state you took, and give a couple fun facts about that state.

Looks like some people were not reading the cache listing. I left 50 state trivia cards in April and by the end of May they were gone. Please treat this as a regular cache, trade some items, and I will get more cards there when I am able.

Have fun on this stretch of Old Route 66!
