A snap lock container placed up on the Welch-Dickey trail. The entire hike is not too difficult if you are pretty fit, but should not be done when it's raining, because the bare rock at the top is extremely slippery.
It's not expected that this cache will be found very easily after the snow falls. Bring a lunch, some water and sturdy hiking shoes are recommended. The trail leading up to the cache location is tree covered, but beyond that point you will be climbing some pretty steep rock if you plan on doing the entire trail. The total distance is 4.4 miles with an elevation gain of about 1800 ft. The average time with rest stops and lunch is about 4 hours. Allow yourself plenty of time to get back before dark. Enjoy !
