Geocache Description:

This cache is another of my "park-n-grab, micro" protest caches that challenge one to get out and enjoy nature while getting a little exercise. It is hidden in a very nice park on a trail that is not very well known. Most that come to the park walk the main paved trail around the lake and are unaware that this trail exist. I would recommend that you stay on the trail to the cache. You have a choice of taking the path to the right or to the left immediately after starting. I will let you decide which direction to go. Either way is OK and will lead you to a point near the cache. Your GPSr may lead you off the path but I do not recommend it unless you like bushwhacking. Believe me, the gravel path will be easiest in the end. Expect a total distance of approximately 1 mile along the path. Bicycles can be ridden easily on the path and will be the quickest way to the cache site. Beware of poison ivy which is all around the cache. Ticks and mosquitoes are abundant and snakes are possible so use repellent and watch your step.

I did not list this as a CITO cache but please help us to keep this park clean and bring out trash even though there is very little trash along this trail.

Also, this park closes at night (around 10:00PM I think), so it will have to be a daytime cahe hunt.

Thanks and have fun!
