Come and see one of Staten Island's better kept secrets. Lemon
Creek was renovated and improved over the past several years and is
a beautiful park with lots to enjoy.
A colony of Purple Marlins have made this their home for
decades, a boating marina and boat launch, kiddies playground,
beach front means there is something here for everyone.
Follow the path to the Lemon Creek Foot Bridge to find the first
stage. The bridge contains many bolts all of which have the same 3
digit number on them. Take that number and add it to N40 30.375 to
get your new North coordinate. West coordinate is now 074
11.873.
The park officially closes at dusk, but we placed this cache at
9pm with no hastle. We checked on it the next am at 7:30 and again,
didn't have too much company in this area.
