Welcome to the Twin Bridges Roost Cache! This cache was setup to introduce fellow Geocachers to a neat little area around the Deschutes River near Tumalo, Oregon. This is a two-stage multi-cache which will take you on a scenic, but easy (almost flat and about 1 mile), walk along the river. Keep your eyes open for wildlife, especially birds. I’ve heard that this is also a great fly-fishing area too!
Easy parking and a trail are near N 44 10.923, W 121 19.109 The first stage has you looking for a Mini-cache (little "submarine") This will contain the coordinates for the final cache location. Be sure to replace and re-attach the cache in its proper location when you are done checking it out. The cache is filled with lots of goodies and First Finders certificate and prize. If you see a big brooding shape sitting on a branch near the trunk of a big tree, don’t worry. This is just Woodsy, the Great Horned Owl, keeping an eye on things for us. Enjoy, but please be respectful of the Private Property notices that surround the conservation easement.
