Geocache Description:

Explore another side of Sun Creek in Allen, Texas. For some time now, the only cache in Sun Creek was "Cache Along Sun Creek" by Waypoint15. Recently constructed paved trails curve through some fairly dense woods. The dense canopy creates that all-important "forest" feeling.

The Regular Guy is your basic cache, no stage ones or bridges necessary! The South side of Sun creek takes you along a nice, regular but new park. There are two basic approaches to this cache. The short way is to take Rollins from either Hedgecoxe or Alma and park either by the playground at N33 05.286 W96 43.217 or somewhere on Rollins where paved trails are currently being constructed. The cache is less than 500 feet from one of these entrances on Rollins. A longer and more scenic route is approximately a 10 minute walk one way and starts at N33 05.456 W96 42.459 in the parking lot for Connemara. The walk from Connemara is worth it if you like scenic walks. This "Nearby Caches" link will show you some other really great caches in this area. We highly recommend Batman, a short simple two-stage cache by Akulakat, and Flounder, a much harder cache more typical of the Akulakat camo style. We also encourage you to watch for the regular inhabitants of the forest - we have seen and heard many kinds. There is some poison ivy around, but it is avoidable.

The cache is a regular 30 Cal Ammo box, in a regular but delicate hiding place. Please be careful when retrieving and replacing the cache. Congratulations to KSCatfishHunter on being First To Find!
