Geo-Breakfast & Get Together Event Cache

This cache has been archived.

bepic_FL: It is that time to archive the cache. Thank you again for all that attended the event. We do have a Geo-Campout in the works and will contact all that attended this event when we have more details. For those of you who mentioned helping with the next event, we will be in touch with you soon!

Anyone who has not seen the article in the Sarasota Herald Tribune, you can view it here:

The video on SNN turned out great. As soon as we can get it transferred to a Quicktime or mpeg format we will let everyone know.

After seeing the note from earlier today, we have also posted the 'Letter to the Editor' that was published in today's Herald Tribune, you can view it here:
http://www.encompassdigital.com/geobreakfast/article/letter2editor.html

We are going to write a follow up 'Letter to the Editor' covering some of the important points that were left out of the original article including Cache In, Trash Out, Virtual Cache's, geocaching etiquette and the basic rules that we follow when hiding/finding caches.

One of the most important goals for this event was to promote this sport in a positive light and the park officials were very impressed with our group and the event. We just want to make sure that others see these points and don't get the wrong idea about geocaching (which was one of the very reasons for having the event in the first place)!

Hope to see you all soon and happy caching!
