Geocache Description:

I was so blown away at A key cache that I felt that it warranted a little boost to complement its mission of improving the trail. The hike is fantastic, but the way that we cachers can give back to this wonderful system of trails we use is laudable.

To be able to log this cache, you must do three things:
  • Email me what I was wishing for when I signed in the Key Cache.
  • A description and coordinates for the man made thing about .10 mile before you get to the Key Cache. It is not a very impressive thing, but the thought of making it up here made my feet hurt with the thought of toting the stuff up.
  • You must do at least one half hour of trail restoration and describe it in your log. Make sure to include a list of what tools you used. I suggest taking a folding shovel, folding saw, pruning shears, loppers, etc. The kind of things that need to be done: reconstruct terracing, pruning back poison oak and other branches, cutting back broken limbs. I highly suggest hiking all the way up, choosing out your project, and then do it on the way back down.
