Geocache Description:

A little known, multi-tiered waterfall nestled at the end of a valley.

Head east on Hwy1 from Saint John, take exit 141 and continue on Hwy 119N to the Gondola Point ferry. Take the ferry and cross the river. Drive off and park your vehicle. Snider Brook is directly across the road from the ferry landing. The falls is up the brook, 320 meters from the road. Enter the woods on the right side of the brook. WATCH OUT FOR THE THORNS AND BLACKBERRY BUSHES. Walk up the valley keeping the brook on your left. It is picturesque (see the photos) but unfortunately there are a couple of manmade eyesores along the way. As the valley narrows, you may lose satellite reception. Once you see & hear the falls, look up for the cache. GPSr WAAS differential was 2.7m. If you’ve lost your satellites you may have to use the hint. Cache container is a camo-ammo can. If you’re adventurous and decide to climb to the top of the falls be careful as the rocks can come loose!

Years ago we fished for trout in this brook. Sea trout entered the brook in the spring. Trout still inhabit the brook; We saw a few swimming around while doing the groundwork for the cache (see the pics).
