The Swallow bypass left this section of road redundant and you can still see evidence of the road markings in this almost forgotten place. You can also walk to another of my caches from here.

Now only used by walkers and horse riders this section of road is partly reclaimed by nature and is a small haven next to a busy main road. The cache is a small green topped tupperware type container hidden beneath the spreading pathside trees and bushes. You can park in laybys on the main road to walk to this cache, or park at N53°30.662 W000°13.582. I recommend this parking place as it is much safer for children and pets, and nearby is a local information board giving an overview of the Lincolnshire Wolds and its attractions. It is also a good place to park your vehicle if you wish to do some cycling as Swallow is on a national cycling route and there are also many well marked Bridle paths in this locality.
