Geocache Description:

Located on north end of LacQuiParle East shore

This cache is named in memory of the Grandpa that used to fish here (although we stashed it out of flood level). On a nice day, you will find people fishing, so be quiet and don't scare the fish! Along this stretch of very curvy road, there are several well marked DNR and WMA turnarounds and field approaches. This is not one of them. You will turn off the main road onto a dirt path that has been in various stages of disrepair over the years, but we have always been able to take whatever the family vehicle was at the time, albeit very carefully, or you can park and hike in. This would be a good kids cache.

This is an ice cream tub containing:
A bottle of water (opened to empty some out for freezing room)
a beeswax candle
3 plastic people
a toy bee
a key keeper
a quarter
a ziploc bag with mini clipboard logbook and pencil
a MN Duck and Goose calling DVD
a Watson magnet
