This close to Hancock Airport but you can get to it from there! Very little walking is needed!
This is a great place to watch the planes approached the Hancock Airport runway.
As a child my father would take me here to watch the planes land and to teach me to identify what each plane was. If you go in the afternoon when the planes are landing it is quite a spectacular place with a clear view of the runway. You can see large jumbo jets landing in Syracuse. Because this is my first cache that I’ve left, it should be relatively easy to find. Not a lot of walking or hiking is involved. It is right off the main road. You’ll enjoy this place. I also like doing woodworking, so I left one small scroll saw piece. I plan to leave one in each of my caches. I hope you enjoy it and leave something for the next person. Good luck!
