A great Dragon tree along a trail with many wonderful trees and rock formations.
This Dragon was pointed out to me by TheNimaj, but since it is on park land it can not have a container. It is right along the trail, no bushwacking necessary, but your eyes may need help. See the picture for a clue. Most people never even see him; they just walk right by!
The trail from the nearest parking is .7 with a little elevation which might leave you a little winded. After seeing the Dragon (and the "box-spring" a little ways past him on the trail) continue to the top for a spectacular view in two places (lower & upper platforms). Bring a camera!
To prove you were here take a picture of yourself with the dragon at location N35 42.199 W82 22.644 or answer these simple questions. Please do not put your answers in your log. Message Center is preferred, but email will work, too.
1) How many benches are here on the viewing area (several pairs).
2) Read the sign and notice the picture. What do "they" struggle to survive against? (try not to laugh at the posers).
