Geocache Description:

Located in beautiful Estes Park on the Lake Estes Trail

The Family and I have been enjoying Estes Park for the Past Year. Surprisingly, there are very few traditional caches..well here's one for you. It's located on the beautiful Lake Estes trail. Spring and Fall are wonderful because the Elk come to town to feed, and they are literally all over the place (hence the caches name). This is a Well travelled trail so you have to use discretion when retrieving, and hill climbing is not required. There is a pier/outlook within 50 meters so I suggest using this to open container and wait for passersby. I have placed a disposable camera in the Cache. When it is full I will post the Pics on the site...Enjoy
