This is a dating theme cache; Cache is in a dark green ammo box. The idea is you can only trade items that are valuable for couples to use on a date night. I.E. gift certificates, coupons to your favorite restaurant; movie passes, etc… Please trade items worth $10 or more.
Theme Cache: Back in my school days we used to call this place “make-out point,” and you could drive all the way across the bench area above Provo City. However, now they have a fence up, and you can no longer drive your vehicle on the dirt road. My friends and I liked this place better than “Squaw Peak Overlook” because it wasn’t as popular, didn’t have to drive as far, and during homecoming week you could see the lights on the Y—which added that much more ambiance & school spirit. It was a great spot to spend time with that special someone, gaze at the stars, and the city lights. So in the spirit of homecoming, I want to create this theme cache. This is a dating theme cache; the idea is you can only trade items that are valuable for couples to use on a date night. I.E. gift certificates, coupons to your favorite restaurant; movie passes, etc… I ask that all items traded have a monetary value of at least $10. If you don’t have anything to trade, please leave a creative dating idea in the logbook. To make this Cache exciting, I went around to a few of the local restaurants and ask for donations to sponsor this theme cache idea. Everyone turned me down, except for Blaine at the Pizza Factory. He Donated $100 to get this cache started! So I hope that at any given time there will be a regular balance value of least $50.00 for geocachers to share ideas and trade coupons, gift certificates, etc …so please be honest and have fun learning about people’s favorite dating “hot spots” or dinning areas. …and when you go to the Pizza Factor don’t forget to tell Blaine thanks for the gift certificates.
