LONG POINT PARK GEOCACHE Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Sapience Trek: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Geocache Description:

EASY WALK AT THE WESTERN MOST FINGER LAKE

Long Point Park is a small Town Park on the west side of Conesus Lake. Many folks will have fond memories of the amusement rides and games that were here for many years. Today a picnic Pavilion and swimming beach are the 2 main attractions. I have often stopped at the last hour before sunset, on days when the park is quiet, as the lighting at that time makes for a very special lake view.

The park also has several very impressive oak trees, be sure to admire the one to your right when you first drive in.

You are looking for a micro so bring your own pen. If the park is too busy so you can not log without exposing it please log a find and send me a note saying where it is. Try to return it to the hiding spot just as you found it.

ENJOY!!
