Great views of the Yarra State Forest can be seen from the walk into this cache.
The walk to the cache is along a track of moderate grade that winds over granite boulders to the summit. Although the walk is relatively short (300m), it is recommended that care be taken during wet weather as the steep slopes and rocky surfaces tend to become slippery when wet.
The best views can be seen from several points along the track rather than the summit where trees obscure much of the view.
Once at the top it is hard to miss the Geodetic Survey Marker that stands where there was once a fire-spotting tower.
Please ensure the cache is well hidden when you leave.
