The cache hunt leads you into the home town of famous german writer and Nobel price winner Hermann Hesse. Near the above coordinates you find the Hermann Hesse Museum and the house where he was born. Find out the house numbers. A = Museum, B = house of birth. Have a look at the fountain, C = number of water outlets. Need a drink or a coffee? D = house number of "Le Petit Bistro". Next stage ( stage 2) is at N48° 43,(B*D +A + 2*C) E8° 44,(B*D + C*A + 49). All following indications for the next stages are to understand as offset to N48°43,000 E8°44,000 . Example: You find the numbers 123 456, your next stage would be at N48°43,123 E8°44,456. Walking distance will be about 6 km, bicycles are not very useful - steep terrain.
