Wetland area. Just off the Old Coach Road (between Morgan SA and Wentworth NSW). The site is north of Punkah Creek, near the Temporary Observatory set up by Surveyor Sir Charles Todd, where (on 20 May 1868) he received telegraphic signals from Adelaide, Sydney and Melbourne to position the SA/NSW border.
Container is a plastic jar with a screw top. It initially contained a notebook, ballpoint pen, hose clamp, reel of cotton, key tag, small bell and a magical ball.
