Use the web page link for additional information.
This cache is located in Minnewaska State Park. The entrance fee on weekends is $7 per car, Empire Passport is exempt. If the weather is good this park can fill up quickly! Park near N41 43.729 W074 14.227 if you can, the lower lots if you must! This is a two stage multi-cache where the first stage contains the coordinates of the final stage. Stage one can be found on foot, bicycle or horse. Stage two can only be found on foot!

Walk either way around Minnewaska Lake to the south end. There you will find a sign and trailhead for the “Old Millbrook Mountain” path, red blazes, foot traffic only. This trail is the shortest route to the face of Millbrook Mountain from Minnewaska, but not the easiest. This trail is best navigated when it’s dry, I wouldn’t bring children . Total distance from parking coordinates listed above to stage 1 is 2.48 miles with moderate elevation change. Total hike from parking lot and back is under 5 miles. Stage 1 container is a small round Tupperware tub, approximately fist size. Stage 2 container is a 7.62 MM NATO ammo can. (visit link)
