This cache is now over twenty years old. The cache is a screw top container hidden on Highdown Hill in West Sussex. There is a car park at N50 49.587 W000 26.514
There is an ample car park at the end of the access road on the right. Highdown Hill is signposted from the A259 Littlehampton to Worthing road, note that access is only possible from the eastbound lane. The cache is about half a mile from the car park. There are a number of interesting things to see and do up here: Fantastic views Picnic area Kids play area Highdown Formal Gardens Tea Rooms A carvery restaurant Several archaeological items of interest including: Bronze age settlement Iron Age camp Roman Bath ruins Grave of the eccentric miller.
