Another cache in Lagoon Valley Park, this time for those who don't wish to climb hills. Take a stroll along the shore of the lake and enjoy the bird-life (watch out for the geese!) We saw pelicans on the water and on the shore of the small island (hence the name) as well as a bunch of cormorants sitting in a tree, oh, and the geese!
This park is home to several other caches, so it could be a fruitful visit for your $3 day-use parking fee. Or you could walk in from outside for free. We hid this while on a campout with a bunch of Cub and Boy Scouts, It's not far from a popular disc-golf course, so there may be players around, but a little stealth will do the trick.
