Geocache Description:

A beautiful hike out to Old Baldy.

Every Thanksgiving our family takes a hike in Old Baldy Conservation area. We head out to Old Baldy and take in an amazing view of the Beaver Valley. The leaves that time of year are awesome! This year we marked the event by placing a geocache.

The cache is located right by the lookout which is a great view any time of the year. There are several trails leading to the cache including the Bruce Trail. At this point it is also the Sentier Trail (a trans Canada trail).

This is located on the Niagara Escartment so there are some steep cliffs and drop offs. Cachers with small children and / or pets should be cautious.

The cache is just off the trail but it is well hidden.
