Hiking trail in east part of Killarney Provincial Park. Elevation change from 238m to 352m. About 4.1km hike from parking to cache. Hiked with kids 3, 5, 6, and 7 yrs old (but the 3&5 were tired)
Cache is a BURGUNDY PELICAN CASE. Park just inside the eastern border of the Provincial park. Coords of parking are N46 02.596, W081 19.472. Follow the trail in (blue markers, cairns on rocks). Fork RIGHT when presented with an obvious fork (left will bring you on a multi-day hike ;-). Interesting tree (for pictures) at N46 03.226, W081 20.516 The cache was hidden with kids and the hike in took us 3 hrs with breaks. Round trip hike was 6-7 hrs including an hour at the top. [Edit 2016: the kids recently re-did this hike and did it round trip in less than 3 hrs.] [edit 2021: 22-year old made it up in 49 mins and then 49 mins down]
