On the main road, under a spiky shrub
Sorry, all the shrubs are spiky in this area! Lots of history here, the old Kanyaka homestead gives testament to how hard life was in this part of the world. The remains of the Old Ghan Railway are here as well, and also "Death Rock" which my guidebook tells me where it was believed aboriginies buried their dead. Probably about 400m from the parking area. A army ammo container as Richard was no longer able to maintain this cache and i visit regularly enough i thought i would adopt this 1 for him all credit goes to Richard for the cache it is a old cache so not much more needs to be said...thank you Richard for letting me adopt this 1
