Geocache Description:

Here's another handy stop along Highway 20 along a seldom-visited U.S. Forest Service interpretive trail detailing some of the area's fire history.

The container is a camo-painted coffee can (it used to be the White Mtn. Fire cache container until I upgraded it). It has a logbook, writing instruments, and an assortment of trading items. There is also a small fee campground next door.

Although this is adjacent to a highway, the parking area is usually snowed in from Nov/Dec through Apr/May. You may still attempt it in the winter by walking in from the turnoff.
