Location is at Neshaminy State Park. Easy walking in all areas of
the park.
This is a Traditional-cache site. It is located on a state park.
The park ranger has granted permission. Please abide to all state
park rules while you are here. When you enter the park you must
park your car and walk to the cache sites. You are not permitted to
drive around interior of the park. Only use the official park
entrance to enter the park, on rare occasions the park may be
closed. Even though the river flows another 116 miles from here to
the ocean, you're at sea level. When the tide comes in at a New
Jersey beach, the water rises here also. Because tides affect this
part of the river, it's called an estuary. Plants and animals from
two worlds meet here, some from the ocean and some from upstream
headwaters. You can still find remnants of wetlands at Neshaminy.
