Dalesman: As this cache seems to have unresolved issues, I'm archiving it to keep it from showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

Geocache Description:

A sleepy village off a busy main road, with an old Church

This little village off the busy A61 road is hardly visited by many, even locals from nearby Ripon & Harrogate. Most get as far as the Red Lion public house (great for children as it has activity centre), but do not enter into the village.

Parking is available in the centre of the village. Please note if you do use the church ‘car-park’ (actually a bit of grass) please respect the sign as it does have an honesty box.

Although the cache is down a track / small road that can easily take cars, please DO NOT take your car further than the sign marked ‘Unsuitable for Motor Vehicles’. Please respect the locals. This road is a bridal path and is used regularly by horses, and is narrow. The walk will do you good !

The cache is a short 500 feet from this point along this metalled road.

The cache is a 2 litre box.
