A small Urbana City Park
***WARNING*** There has been a death in the tree family. I believe waypoint F has fallen victim to a chain saw. It is still possible to find the cache since the nearby numbered trees are sequential and you can guess what number this is. Also, since we are working in the minute decimals of the lattitude and longitude, you should find yourself only a few yards away from the final cache if you use the wrong number. I will be making some adjustments to the cache soon.
The coordinates listed for this cache will take you to a sign that describes the park.
This cache is named both for the location, but also because of the structure of the clues. At each of the waypoints you will find a very obvious number between 1 and 50. Each number is used in the next "generation" of waypoints until you find the cache. The two digit numbers you find will give you the last two digits of the lat and long in next "generation"
In the first "generation" you must go to the following four waypoints:
N 40 06.225 W 088 12.708 = A
N 40 06.253 W 088 12.747 = B
N 40 06.235 W 088 12.699 = C
N 40 06.203 W 088 12.722 = D
(Check: A+B+C+D=141) You may be one number off, but this shouldn't effect the next find.
In the second "generation" you will search for two waypoints:
N 40 06.1(50+A) W 088 12.6(50+B) = E
N 40 06.2(C) W 088 12.6(D) = F
In the final "generation" you will find the cache at:
N 40 06.2(E) W 088 12.6(F)
The cache is a 3 inch diameter can with a logbook and small treasures inside. Bring some small trading items (coins, tokens, etc.)
This is a very busy park, especially at noon on weekdays. Please be very discrete when you find and rehide the cache container.
