Geocache Description:


Park by the duck pond... it's somewhere along the little creek that feeds that pond... but I wouldn't suggest following the creek to find it. The tree cover right near the cache will confuse your GPS when you get pretty close. No, we didn't stick it inside that tree. (Your confused gps might violently disagree.) :)

After a few months of "BETA testing" it appears that the tree cover thing really does confuse most GPS devices. If anybody is feeling particularly retentive and wants to try to get their most consistant and accurate coordinates when they find the cache, I'll be happy to change the coordinates if it looks like consensus comes up with a better set of numbers. As it is, it looks like most folks can get within 30-40 feet of it no matter how confused their cache gets. :) So maybe we just bump the challenge level up. :) (BTW, "tree cover" is already a helpful hint.)
