Geocache Description:

Outsider delight! Junior's gone but Atomic lives on. Welcome to the Village of Madison Run. Since before 1986, this roadside wonder has been known to only the backroads driver and those with a lifetime subscription to The Orange County Review. This virtual cache is easy to find and can be seen from the one lane road. DON'T underestimate any oncoming "traffic", keep your paintjob and bumper intact, move along apiece and walk back (and close your jaw too).

Once you've arrived, don't just idle there, get out of the road for Pete's sake! Be considerate of the residents, drive to train tracks and park there, it's only a short walk back up. The road is public, the property is private.

Since Junior passed, it’s started to look a bit forlorn, but the Atomic place, as I've always referred to it, is still as engaging a sight you're lucky to see on any rural route. I love it, I hope you do too.

Questions to ponder, reply is not necessary, but always welcome. (Please do NOT include in your log, even if encrypted):
Why Atomic? What was Junior's apparent hobby?

(Thanks to Ms. Edith for sharing Atomic and Junior with me and Mary Chapin Carpenter for I am a Town, southbound)
