Cache is .9 miles from the Nebo Bench trailhead parking lot. Look for dirt road going north from the parking lot. When road crosses a cattle guard in about .4 miles start hiking on FS trail 089 to the west, which is marked. You can shave off .4 miles of hiking if you drive to the cattle guard. Hardest part of hike is the next .2 miles. I would recommend a high clearence vehicle if you plan to drive to cattelguard and start hiking.
This cache is in an ammo box near a large Bristlecone Pine tree. It is an easy hike except for .2 miles where the trail climbs 200ft. Original contents include: Mug, 6 carpenters pencils, moose statue, 4 rings, bracelet, rubber ball, San Diego Zoo pin, Snoopy key chain, 2 missing links, cat eye eyeglass strap, chums eyeglass strap, leave no trace tag, Craftsman small screw driver with assorted bits, roll of electrical tape.
