Geocache Description:

Find the Ring of Wonder and find the cache.

PLEASE NOTE!! This is an old OFFSET cache. Although it was correctly posted originally, today it would be considered a "Multi" or "Mystery." The designation cannot be changed." The final coords are posted in the description.

This is a standard size ammo can, located in a popular, scenic park. Kid friendly. Great place for a picnic or a swim. There are rocks and cliffs to jump from and some nice shallow areas for kids, but the bottom is all rocks, not sand, so sneakers are advised for wading.

Park at the West parking lot, the first one that you come too if you are coming from Vancouver. Cross the road and find the trail head at the bridge guard rail. Bring your camera to get a good shot of several water falls and bridges. The second bridge and the swimming areas are across the highway and to the south.

Proceed down the trail until your find the "Ring of Wonder", then pause and wonder how it got there!! The cache is locate in the forest off the trail to the North at N45.50.009 W122.23.195. Try not to make a permanent cacher trail. This is a very popular park and many aliens traverse the trails so make sure the cache is well covered when you are done.

If you continue down the trail, you will come to a beautiful waterfall and a sturdy footbridge that leads to an upper parking area. If it is open, cross the footbridge and and head up to the parking lot. Then go South and cross the road. There is a very scenic bridge just beyond the restrooms. There is another waterfall back by where you parked. Please do not post photographs of the Ring of Wonder, keep it a surprise.

After finding this cache, you may wish to proceed to "Bat Haven", "Sunset Search" , "Boot Hill" or "Fishnic Park".
