Geocache Description:

A bit of a hike on a steep, rather rough trail.

Do not go to the listed co-ordinates and expect to find the cache!

Third in a series of caches placed to show you the beauty of Barbershop Canyon! They were placed in the order: Lead, Bass, Baritone, and Tenor. All driving can be done in a 2WD P/U.
I would obviously recommend searching in the same order.

Barbershop Canyon runs all the way from the top of the rim until it empties into East Clear Creek, just below the Blue Ridge Reservoir. A steep walled canyon in many places, remote and serene.

After completing (or perhaps passing on) Barbershop Quartet-Bass, return to FR139 and drive south a short distance to N34°29.843' W111°10.320', where you should find a sign for the U-Bar Trail. Take the trail south, down into the canyon (surprise!) until you reach N34°29.638' W111°10.002', where you should find an engraving in the rock that includes a four digit number. Subtract this number from the listed latitude, and add the same number to the listed longitude to obtain the correct co-ordinates for the cache. The photo captions could be helpful! (My apologies to PDA users!)
