Located at an old restored barn, check the website,http://www.thumboctagonbarn.org/ this cache is an easy one to get to and you can drive to within a few feet of the cache.
Cache is near the Thumb Octagon Barn so check it out while you are here. If the barn door is open then take a peek inside and sign the guestbook. This is a great piece of the local history and the Friends of the Octagon Barn were excited to have me place a cache here. Feel free to make a donation to help with the restoration, there is a donation box inside the barn. It was my intent to make this a cache themed around old things, but I ended up in Gagetown by happenstance and took the opportunity to place a cache while I was so close. So I just threw one together out of stuff I had in the car for other caches. But if you could, place something old in the cache. I started this cache with the following;
Two old bottles,
an old electric pole insulator,
Two golf balls,
earplugs,
a Hotwheels Car,
and some foreign coins.
